Winter Wonderland Dance Success

The winter wonderland dance was a huge success! We couldn’t have done it without the Student Leadership Team (SLT), the PTO, and many parent volunteers. Special shoutout to former Sanderson music teacher Ben Green for pumpin’ up the jams!

Spring Musical

MTRS is putting on a spring musical to be performed on May 2 and 3, 2025. We would love to involve students in grades 5 & 6 in this show. At this stage we would like to find out who might be interested. In January, Director Paul will schedule a student meeting for students in grades 5 & 6 at MTRS to see which roles students will take in the show. A parent information meeting will also be scheduled for January/ February with information about rehearsal and an opportunity to ask Paul logistical questions.

Please Dress for Cold Weather - News from Nurse Mikaela

Please send your children to school dressed for the weather! Except for extremely cold weather, most classes will be outside for recess every day. If your child doesn’t have snow pants when there is snow on the ground, they will have to stay on the blacktop. We have some extra gear in the health office to borrow, but we run out quickly.

We could always use additional waterproof mittens, jackets, and snow pants if you have extra at home. Please review the school district’s guidelines for dressing for the weather. Please contact the nurse's office via email if you need help getting cold-weather clothing.
